need help on learning how to intro. other foods to my frogs

I was just wondering how other people feed the PDF mealworms? Do you just put them in the cage and the frogs eat them, or do you cut them in half? I am just wondering because I am trying to vary my Azureus diet but can't seem to get them to eat anything except FF. I have tried crickets, mealworms, and waxworms. if there is some special trick please let me know.
