Green and brown Anole care is virtually the same. Most care philosophies can be applied to most small species, as long as their particular climate needs aren't drastically different or specific. Though brown Anoles tend to tolerate environmental extremes slightly better than green Anoles. As for which is better? I have kept both and personally prefer green Anoles. But that is a bias on my part, only because I have had green Anoles much longer. Their tempers range based on the individual Anole. The brown Anoles I had were much more ill tempered than the green Anoles, but most people I speak with report the complete opposite. The two species get roughly the same size, thankfully, and therefore require the same cage sizes. For information on keeping both species, feel free to checkout my care guide.
