If the knight has any type of systemic infection, internal parasites, or anything of the like, it's unlikely the iguana would be infected and thus show similar symptoms -- unless they were ever in direct contact with one another, or housed together. If he/she is showing minor improvement with increased night temperatures, than this is a plus. Any improvement is better than none. But if by any chance he/she has internal parasites, remember that stress in any form can cause for those parasites to experience rapid population booms, which will obviously affect health. And though calming down the reptile won't remove the parasites, it will ease the infestation making things seem ok while the parasites remain. So I would suggest you quickly drop by the vet's just to drop off the fecals for float+smear testing. It wouldn't hurt.
