Most Gekko's had there whole feet with tiny little hairs that keep them 'sticked' (adhesie). It doesn't cost them any energie to stay on the glas because of the contacts at million places below there feet. Anoles also have the little hairs below the towpad of each finger. When you look it some better it are horizontal lammele. The hairs are only on this places. Notice not every Anolis has the abillity to clim like most Anolis can. Anolis onca, a specialist of dune landscapes cant. Some Anolis are specialisd within this form of climbing. These group called the Gekko Anolis.
