I was down 3 times last year and spent a combination of 12 nights on the RR and only got stopped by Border Patrol on 1 trip on RR. I don't know of anybody getting ticketed and or hasseled last year. The only thing that we heard was the closing of all of the border crossings in the Big Bend area and the up-grade of law enforement in which we did see along the roads but they never caused us any problems. While we didn't see any alterna and as we posted , it was a banner year for observing Lyre Snakes on the River Road. Of course it was also wet on the RR on 2 trips as far as rain for the combined of 4 nights on 2 trips.
