::I fed my 8yr old greyband 4 days ago, which was the first time he's eaten since waking from hibernation. He ate the f/t moust no problem, but the next day threw it up. Any reason why he did this? How soon should I try feeding him again?

::The temperature in his cage is between 70-80 degrees, and I have a Cobra heat pad underneath his cage.

::Thanks!

:First of all, I am not that experienced with grey-bands, but I'll share with you what I have read.
:I would wait a week or two after regurgitation before trying another feeding. Now what could have caused the regurgitation in the first place? Well, from what I have heard it is a good idea to start feeding prey that are half the normal size when coming out of burmation.This gives their digestive system time to get up to speed.
:Secondly, from what I know your temps could be a bit low. The warm side of the cage should be in the mid-80's to assist in proper digestion.
:Anyone is welcome to correct me if I am wrong but I hope this helps.

Yeah, I gave him a smaller mouse than I usually do (since it was his first meal since hibernation). I'll give it another few days and try again. Thanks for your suggestions!
