Hatchling wont eat? Newbie please help!!!

I just got a hatchling gray banded king and have been unable to get it to eat.I have had boas and corns in the past but this is my first king.I offered a 2 day old pinkie with no response.I read on another site to wash it and dry it .So I tried that.Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.
