I agree that you are most likely correct about wild reproductive behavior in snakes...but I can't get over the claim of a Charina (Lichanura) trivirgata moving 20 miles in a week, unless it was transported somehow. That's simply too incredible to believe. Is there ant real data on this? If so, I'd appreciate any possible reference. Please respond. Thanks!
