:Okay guys, Dan Johnson revealed 4 days ago that he has a breeding colony of Hueco Mt. alterna and none of you guys has said a word! What's the matter with you guys? This to me is one of the most significant happenings in alternadom in at least a decade and I personally can't stop going to his website to drool over the PICs. I've spent alot of nights in the Huecos over the past 17 years (it was the first place I ever hunted for alterna in 1985) and my hat goes off to Dan. That is a tough place to hunt and I've been dreaming of finding an alterna there since I held the wildcaught female Hueco in 1985 that John Hanson had at his house in El Paso. Dan, you're my hero...those are awesome snakes and I only wish I'd have known about this in time to get in on this year's babies. Please put me on the wait list for next year!!!
My jaw dropped to the ground when I heard about these! Maybe next year when I produce Carlsbad alterna I'll decide to tell the rest of you guys about it!
