I'd separate them asap. You might try introducing them again on neutral ground. They might not get along, even if they are male/female.
:Hi! I have a Texas Alligator Lizard that I have had for a few years now. I rescued him and when I did he had metabolic bone disease. Since he has been under the right lightening with calcium he has gotten better but doesn't walk right. Well he had a female in with him but she died from being egg bound about a year ago. Today I got what was supposed to be a female from someone who had had her for about 6 months in captivity. I thought that they would get along but they have been latching on to one another’s tails and flipping around. I was wondering could it be that I have 2 males? Are they just determining dominance or should I separate them for good?
