Many many questions bout alligator lizards, im a novice.

hi all, i dont know ne thing about alligator lizards, i just know they look cool and my mom wont let me get snake so i thought maybe id research this. i need some simple questions answer if someone would plz help, id appreciate it.

1.)How big do they get?
2.)what do they eat?
3.)what do i use for a cage?
4.)are they a swift, nervous lizard?
5.)what do i use for substrate?
6.) What are the heat/humidity requirements?
7.)are they difficult to care for?
