Hi
A well known herp dealer is selling "Blue-tailed skinks", and states that they are Mabuya quinquetaeniata. I have found this species on a website, which indicates they are AFRICAN, and live in arid conditions.
Is anyone on this forum familiar with this species? Anyone know of a care sheet that is online?
The dealier selling these says they are "native to Florida". However, I think the skink in Florida with a blue tail would be one of two species of Eumeces... so that does not make sense...
Would like to buy his lizards if they are indeed Mabuya, but do not want mis-identified Eumeces!
