Hi, my name is Glen and I live in Canada.
My grandfather lives in Hillside, Bulawayo.
I am a lifelong (35yrs) reptile lover, my grandfather is a lifelong (70+)reptilephobe.
The last time he visited me, he brought 2 picture of snakes that had been killed by locals.
One was apparently a forest cobra. The other was a mamba, species unknown.
According to a simple field guide for Zimbabwe, there are a couple of mamba species around.
Does anyone know what types of mamba can be found in this area?
If any Zim herpers wish to communicate, please e-mail me.
Glen.
PS. How rare are the gaboon vipers in Zim?
