Hi there, I dont have a clue about a sudan plated lizard, but I have an iguana and it sneezes fairly regularly, but this is normal for this type of lizard...I also seem to remember there was even a good reason for it. Maybe its the same with your lizard, it must be somewhere on the interenet. I reckon as long as it doesnt have a runny nose or eyes etc then it shouldnt be a problem. If nobody else comes up with a reason, maybe take him to the vet...better safe than sorry.
: Hello, I have a Sudan Plated Lizard (14 inches), and he sneezes every now and then. I just got him on Wednesday, and up until now it has not been a worry. But now I am worried. Could it be the substrate. I have him on Repti-Sand. But I doubt there is impactation because I feed him in a seperate enclosure.
: Also, I feed him live food every other day, so on the days he is not eating live food, I feed him fruits and veggies. For the past two days I have fed him romaine (sp?) lettuce, but he seem not to be interested. So today I tried feeding him some grapes that I cut into four. Is this okay. What about nutricion. I do dust the crickets that he eats, as well as the superworms. But will he be okay?
: Thanks,
: Bryan
