Hi Kris,

I live in south africa and was in the Pilanesberg last month. I have been there in winter, don't worry, it still gets hot enough to see a couple herps, remember this is africa ..

cheers

brett

: I will be in Pilanesberg National Park in late July 2001. Since July is the dead of winter down there, I'm afraid my chances at herping success are pretty slim. I hope someone will tell me this is not necessarily the case. Can anyone give me any advice? I am an AVID field herper here in the US, but this will be my first trip to Africa, and I want to bring home as many herp photos as humanly possible. Thanks for any assistance you can provide. :)

: Chris
