: I would like to hear from anyone who has any useful information on the ornate forest Nile monitor (which I've heard has been recently elevated to full species status). Myself and Rob Faust are working on an article regarding the husbandry and captive propagation of these monitors. We've had success breeding them, and have compiled many articles and papers about them. However, there must be some of you out there who may have had experiences with them in West Africa. Information on range, habitat where encountered, time of year, day, weather conditions, feeding, foraging, nesting, burrows, anything- please report it to me. Anyone keeping them should write to me as well. Thanks in advance.
