First of all African Spurred tortoises don't grow much within their first year or so , but they do require a good amount of calcium , and vitamin d3 in that first year , she may not be growing due to the lack of proper calcium offerings and natural sunlight , African Spurred Tortoises should only be kept in terrariums their first year , and then they should start gradually being left outside for proper exercise , and vitamin d3 , or natural sunlight , good luck with your African Spurred Tortoise ! Hopefully this will help you a little .
