Please Help Identify exotic toad

First off, let me admit, I am not educated about toads AT ALL. But I saw something on TV that has me so curious, I must learn more. Tricky part is, the show mentioned name of species in quick passing and I didnt catch it.It was on the travel chanel and the name of show was Most Bizzare Animals (I think) Anyway toad had a flat like body and a back like swiss cheese where the babies (tadpoles?)would stay and then break through and swim away.I may not have all details correct but I am really wanting to learn what I can. Please, if anyone has any info that would help or can point me in a good direction to look,I would very much appreciate it. This is a serious inquiry, Please email me. e.k.buck@worldnet.att.net
