I hope that someone here can clear up a debate I am having with someone on the Frog forum. It really is about details, and neither one of us are experts on the evolution of tetrapods. The debate is largely centered around the usage of the word “herp” to describe amphibians and reptiles. It is likely that neither one of us have the facts completely straight and I encourage anyone with a thorough understanding of the subject to post.

The first link is the post that started this debate. Then it was continued later as a new post.
