Help Needed With Volunteer Work

: Hey everyone, I am going to be volunteering at Roger Williams Zoo this summer. I am planning on becoming a zookeeper when I graduate and need to gain all the experience I can. The problem is that I live in Connecticut and Roger Williams is located in Rhode Island. The commute would be 2 and 1/2 hours each way. Ouch! Anyways the intern program is something like 4 days a week and I am trying to find a place to stay over night while I am there. Does anyone live or know anyone who lives somewhere by the Zoo or in Rhode Island in general. I am willing to take any ideas or help I can get (even a backyard to put a tent up in). I can of course come and meet anyone willing to help me before they agree to anything. I could also volunteer some time to anyone who helps me out (i.e. free yard work).
