The highlighted link below should give you a start, it details distribution for the Gehyra genus.

A less detailed distribution key than the one below (which may still be useful as it contains some interesting behavioural notes and also photos) can be found here: http://www.nafcon.dircon.co.uk/geckos_gehyra.html

Using the distribution data you might find a technique I use handy; obtain a physical map from a meterological website, and print it out onto thin card. From there you can obtain further meterological and geographical data such as vegetation density, and climatic data in the form of maps which may be printed onto seperate sheets of clear acetate.

This way you can start off with your inital map, mark out genus and subspecific distribution, and then use your overlay sheets to determine which animals inhabit various habitats and different climates.

Simple but effective. It might not be as easy as a pre-made map, but at least on your own research you can have more confidence in the validity of the results! (more fun too ;o) )
