What kind of info do you need? This is a great site if you're looking for info about the actual animals, and good way to get in touch with people who know about them,
but try looking at universities that offer herpetology degrees and maybe interviewing a prof or something along those lines too.
And just becase someone doesn't necessarily have a degree in herpetology doesn't mean that they don't necessarily know more about it than people who do have a degree. :)
