I turned over a rock and saw two animals that looked very much like earthworms. The exceptions were: They had eyes widely spaced on top of a slightly arrow shaped head, but not beaded out from the skull. They had very delicate (small for their bodies) legs and feet. They had at five fingers on the rear feet. They ran with their bellies tight to the ground. They were 4" to 6" long. Does anyone know what they are? (I live in the Greater Cincinnati area. I saw them Oct 12,2001.)
