Hello there

I am a serious amatuer herpetologist with eight years' experience in the popular groups of reptiles.

I am looking for a place/means to complete any formally recognised course/qualification in herpetology or herp care (or failing that ANYTHING involving herps and education LOL) WITHIN THE UNITED KINGDOM.

I realise that this is a predominantly American forum, but am at my wits' end trying to find a source of information over here.

You see, I am at home after losing my job following kidney surgery complications, and so now I am better I have decided to follow my lifes' dream and pursue my herpetological passion formally.

I was recently made aware of GNVQ courses by Proteus Reptile Trust but cannot afford the fees immediately due to being out of work.

I may pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Science, but would rather go right for the jugular as it were, with a herpetology module of study.

Can anyone PLEASE help me?

Thanks in advance for your time and assistance in this matter.

Kind regards,

Lee P. Yates
