There are very few. The most current text, "Herpetology", published in 1998 (I think) is by Pough, Cadle, and some other people. Its a nice text, but before buying it, read the review by Aaron Bauer in Herpetological Review (Don't know which issue). He doesn't give it a great review, suggesting to wait for a second edition. His review is the only negative one that I've read, but Bauer knows what he's talking about. I'm waiting for edition 2.
