Is there a website which lists the animals protected by CITES? The reason I ask is that I recently saw an elephant trunk snake advertised in the classifieds. Everything I've read about this species has said it is endangered due to overhunting for the leather trade. It was also sad that the photo was snapped with the animal positioned on grass. These snakes are rarely terrestrial. I'd like reference site to find out what is "officially endangered", what is protected by CITES, and what is considered to be not endangered. Thanks!
