I thought you could only sell them in the state they were bred, if CITES I. Interstate travel would require paperwork, wouldn't it?

:You can legally sell them withing the US if that is where you live without any permits. You can export and import appendix I animals still but only under certain conditions. Mostly for Zoo's and such. Also when did this species become appendix I? As far as I know it was just upgraded to appendix II not that long ago.
