This is an eastern painted turtle. Either release him where he came from, or take the proper care needed for him. He looks dehydrated, he def needs water. Put him in some water (at least 2 inches deep) along w/ a basking area w/ a basking light and preferably a repti-sun 5.0 as well. You can do a search on the turtle forum and/or look up how to care for these guys in more detail. Give him some small worms and "baby" tetra reptomin pellets to get him eating.

:My son rescued this little guy from some kids at school. The were "flicking" it across the table and he traded his lunch for it.
:He's not much bigger than a nickel, has yellow stripes on face & neck. He has 1 red stripe down each front leg.
