Barely slightly darker. See many integrades and cumberland sliders tend to have the yellow strip a bit darker or invaded by dark pigment toward the top of the stripe

:You'll notice the stripe is darker than the typical yellow stripes... I have a male RES where the strip has turned a yellowish green, but still darker than the rest of stripes on the face... I would post pics, but I dont have webspace.
