Someone in our location said that they found this baby turtle and we've seen other people find them too. The only problem is is that we don't know what kind he is-maybe he's too small to tell for sure-he has four back toes, five front toes, no apparent coloration on his carapace except around the edge, a beak like mouth, webbed feet, and orange and black mottled coloration on his plastron. We have looked in all of our ID books and on countless websites, but nothing matches him perfectly. Our guess was that he was an Eastern Box except that he doesn't have a hinged plastron. Oh yeah I guess you should know that he was found in Georgia.
