My idea was more along the lines of they can be testy, but each snake is an individual. I have had copperheads that are perfect angels, though I do not take risks with them. I was thinking more along the lines of distribution locally...copperheads seem to really congregate and have literally hundreds in a pretty modest sized area. But you are right...any snake can bite with provocation and horridus could deliver a much heftier bite than any copperhead. Andy
