What is the biggest black rat (elaphe obsoleta) u have ever seen, i live in N.C., and i was cutting some saplings down aroung my croc pen outside and i saw the biggest rat snake i think i have ever seen, it was at least(NO FISH TALES!!LOL)8 or 8 1/2 ft. long he was huge!!!I got him and put him in my barn i diddnt wont him to go in there with my gator he would make a meal out of him.When i was younger i used to cath them, and i dont think i have ever seen one in person that long, i have some pics but i cant load up the pics on my pc. i will try to get em soon.
