Definitely not a bull/gopher/pine (Pituophis). They have single anal plates. Yours has a divided anal plate, which is a feature of a ratsnake. My guess is some sort of morph of texas rat. I am not sure though, although the general appearence, IMO, looks like a rat snake. I do not work with morph animals so that is why I am not totally sure, although someone else can probably give you a better idea. :Hi there, I got this guy from a pet store that was treating it real bad. It was infested with mites, had a regurgitated mouse in the cage, and the color was practically brown due to the dust from repti-bark and dirt being imbedded in its scales. His head was totally damaged on the top and his tail has been cut off at one point in his life. Don't know if it was even captive born. I picked it up for $25 and understood there was a good chance I was getting a problem snake. My wife couldn't stand to see the way it was being treated though. $175 later and 2 visits to a herp vet he is doing real well. After a year now, his head is healing pretty good (not completely yet) and his tail is pretty much scar tissue at the end.
:The Pet store owner said it was a Kingsnake. I knew better than that. I almost believe it may be some kind of Gopher but this thing has never hissed at me or showed any characteristics of the Gopher, Pine, Bullsnake family except for physical characteristics.
:HE HATES WATER!! Will do anything to get away from it.
:After he healed up and became healthy he shows signs of being a bit snippy at times. He has bit at me but hasn't got me yet. He seems quite clumsey at times. Live mice give him a fight! So I only feed him thawed.
:Hardly ever hides in his hide rock. Likes to lay out more than anything.
:He is practically pure white with a tint of a pattern near it's tail. A pattern of diamonds. There are small marks of red/orange spots here and there. At first I thought they were wounds of some sort but after a year they are still there and the same color.
:I have count scales of a shed:
:236 ventral
:split anal plate
:23 dorsal rows mid-body
:27 dorsal rows closer to head (appr. 3" back from head)

:P.S. I don't know whether it is a he or a she. My daughter named him/her Snowflake after she saw how white he was when we cleaned him up. Thanks for your help.
