I have seen this too, and I had garters( as well as frogs which are a heck of a lot more sensitive to these things than snakes are) that ate red wigglers with no side effects. That is like people blaming feeding mice to hognose. I would need some hard evidence(i.e. necropsies) for me to believe that it was the red wigglers alone. We can sit here and assume all day, but assuming does not prove anything. It could have been stress, parasites, or just about anything. Sometimes perfectly healty appearing snakes can keel over from something not noticed. But like I said, I would need some real evidence other than a bunch of assumptions. Andy
