I work at a pet store and some lady came in and gave me what she said was a spiny tailed iguana. I went to a reptile show in Charleston SC, and the vendors told me that it was a central american spiny tailed iguana, (cnet - something). It has dark brown/almost black stripes down the side with similar colored dots under the lower jaw. The tail is very similar to a Uromastyx except there is a definate accent on three rows that go down the tail. The iguana is also very calm. I was just wondering if anyone had information (ie website, verbal, email) that could help me perfect it's cage environment. From head to tip of tail it is about 8 inches long. Also the tail has a faint sea green shade to it.
