I was in Manhattan Beach, California, its a little bit south of Los Angles. I saw this skink running along the sand and some ice-plant and it didnt know what it was and i couldnt get a picture of it either. It was about 9 inches long. The body was about 4 inches and the tail was longer than the boday, it was about 5 inches. His tail was fairly fat and didnt go straight to a point at the tip, it rounded of a little but it wasnt injured or broken off. His body lean and he had yellow and gray stripes that sroped at his tail and he tail was mostly gray with a little bit of black in band shapes. Any idea what kind of skink it is?
