Well I thought I should add a story to the forum. This one is going to be a short story for the story on how i got into turtles will need time, This one is about how I got into bearded dragons. It all happened in the summer of 99" I had volunteeredagain at Gladys Porter Zoo's summer teen program, and I finally got to work my favorite place. The herpaterium, I had worked extra days, and even went on days that I want't suppose to go,(hehe dont tell anyone) Well we had a party for a close friend that I made there. During the party someone said if anyone wanted a bearded dragon. Me always wanted anything that was expensive for free jumped right ahead the situation. So it was set I would pick it up the next day, well the next day came and there it was a 12inch male bearded dragon. Well as I took it back to the herp for the day, I was asked by Dave if I wanted his bearded dragon, again I jumped at the chance and got him too. So there I was outside the zoo waiting for my mom to pick me up with 2 lizard that I didnt think would change me. I had told everyone at the herp that turtles where my thing, and that nothing else would come between us. Well that all changed in the year 2000, I found out about Kingsnake.com and I didnt know so many people wanted bearded dragons, thats when I decided to sell one of my bearded dragons to get 2 more this time they where going to be females for my lone male Well I did get some females, then i got 2 more hatchling bearded dragons, and now I have 5 bearded dragons, and soon I'll about 7 or 8, These guys have changed everything for me, everyone who see them and handles them loves them, thats how I have gotten young kids into herps. With these little guys. So thats one of my many storys to come, if something doesnt make sense I understand, I'm not very good in typing. lol
