I have used playsand with my adults for two years.
Recently, 2 of my favorite females started loosing weight.
Both were gravid and had plenty to eat and vitamin and mineral suplements.
both cases turned out to be sand inmpaction. both have survived, but
cannot keep weight on and will probably never be bred again.
I can't bring myself to use playsand anymore, and I refuse (for now , anyway!)
to pay 8 bucks for 5 lbs of bone-aid. I'm realy getting tired of papertowels,
though. Curse you, Bounty! the quicker-picker-upper indeed!
