I would really like to see some Mx Burrowing Frogs out calling. From what Dave Martin and Ken King said at the Amphibian Workshop last month, these frogs are extremely unusual. These frogs spend most of their lives underground waiting for the heavy rains and then come up to the surface to mate, far off from civilization. They have an incredible call described as aliens landing. It would be great to also see some Couches Spadefoot Toads in a similar setting although I have found them outside of Combs.
