Thanks for sharing your bite experience as well. As it looks now, I'm thinking I might regain use of my hand in another week or so. It's been a little over 1wk since the bite and I'm starting to be able to move my fingers more, but still can't put any real pressure on the hand. The complete underside of my arm is still real sensitive and when touched lightly it feels like I just pressed on a bad bruise. Other than that, things are going well.
