I'm glad there are people who stand up for the hobby and the requirements that come with keeping venomous. You are condoning every short cut. IMO, that is just wrong. The internet is a powerful tool but it also allows people to be powerfully lazy. If you encourage such laziness in areas of law and abiding regulations you might as well start kissing this hobby good bye.

There is such a thing as withholding information for the good of education. That's what was done. You greatly over-reacted to someone giving good advice and convinced yourself that the person was rude, aggressive, was stealing government secrets to sell to the Soviets, etc. A dose of reality are what many people need. You wish to keep things in the realm of a touchy-feely fantasy world. The world isn't that way. YOU OVER-REACTED! Plain and simple. Or at least plain to some.
