Hey Matt,

I read all of the posts concerning your situation, and it might feel like everyone is jumping down your throat. What I see when I read them all, is years of experienced handlers trying to head off a potential disaster, or at least an uncomfortable event. I am new to hots (2 years), so take my advice with a grain of salt, but I have had the luck to work with a handler with over 25 years of experience on his side, and before this adventure, have kept numerous non-venomous snakes. Burmese pythons are not know for being particularly aggresive, but I had an albino, about 15 feet, with a terrible attitude, she only got me once, but here, once is all it takes. My point being, listen to the advice here, the years of experience of these people is priceless.
