Gee. Could that be because it's just not part of the religion, despite what people who watch too much late night TV seem to think? LOL

I really don't know what's on the Web about Wicca. I know that some of it is pretty much a crock. You could try wicca.net, as that one I know to be reliable.

The fact is that some Wiccans do practice animal sacrifice, but not "blood sacrifice". It would be more accurately called "meat sacrifice" or even more pragmatically "respectful and humane slaughter of animals for food". Not many modern Wiccans actually do this; I'm one of the few stubborn holdouts. My only use for the blood is making some delicious German dishes with the stuff, though. I do not paint my face and caper naked on the lawn or anything. LOL
