Once again you assume that the majority believe in the Shroud. You are mistaken, I think this is one subject I know more about since I practice it! Now back to the matter at hand, My original question to you regarding this matter was why are you so compassionate about snakes yet not other animals. You say it is wrong to kill the snake in question(which I agree with)but if so then why can you not concede that any unnecessary killing is wrong also? For example why must you kill for food when you can live to a ripe old age eating a vegetarian diet. Is it because you like meat? Then you have made the same decision as the man wanting to kill the snake except it fits your way of thinking and creature comforts. You have chosen to take that animals life because YOU like meat. You are a true hypocrite in every sense of the word. I think your writing style is excellent but it seems that when someone replies in the same well thought out manner(I am sure in your Wiccan wisdom you will think I don't qualify) you have a hard time understanding the full context of their message.
