I was referring to the belief that the image on the shroud was created when Jesus passed through it in the process of rising. My only comment on this is that it is unwise to scoff at other people's religious beliefs for the sole reason that they seem strange or silly to you. All religious beliefs can seem strange or silly or threatening to people who don't believe them.

*chuckle* Try making a valid point and I'll concede it. Other people have managed. So far all you've come up with is on the level of "it's bad to feed bunnies to Gaboon vipers because they are cuter than rats".

Rude of me, I know. A response to the extreme frustration of trying to have a conversation with somebody who insists on arguing about things you didn't say and don't believe.

You're Christian. I was raised Wiccan. Our most basic values are likely to be quite radically different. I don't hate Christians, but I am diametrically opposed to their beliefs about food, sex, nature, the earth, life and just about everything else that matters. You can question all you want, but you will come up with the same answers. We are not going to agree on what is "right", so we might as well stick to talking about snakes.
