: If they were strangers, you wouldn't know if you like them or not. So, I guess this statement means...No AV for anyone I don't know.
No, this means that there had better be some reason for me to like or trust somebody before I'll give them $800 worth of hard to replace drugs that I need for myself.
: Now we're jumping to snake keepers here, NOT just people you know.
Being a fellow venomous snake keeper is a good reason for me to consider someone a potential friend rather than a stranger. We're part of the same community. But there are some limits, which I have a right to set.
: Now we're going to emergencies...NOT just people you know or fellow snake keepers.
I have seen few emergencies that did not involve people. You seem to have snipped this quote out of its original context.
: "I don't believe human life is automatically worthy of special regard or protection, especially from the consequences of their own bad decisions."
: Just because someone makes a bad decision or move, they deserve to die? Maybe you're right...We should all die, because, after all, we have all made bad decisions???????
Your lack of comprehension is really underwhelming. Life is not a padded room or a Disney movie. Nor should it be. If you place your hand in a fire, you will be burned. If you feed wild bears, you can get your arm ripped off. It is not a good idea to outlaw fires or to shoot all the wild bears so that no human might come to harm in case they do a stupid thing.
: Boy! I feel another Waco incident coming on here! By the way, what ever happened to David Koresh?
Take a close look at Christian values and mythology and tell me that they are not seriously scary. You can find justification for genocide, rape, slavery, torture and religious terrorism in the Bible. Such beliefs are far more likely to lead to violence than an older and gentler spiritual tradition of kinship with animals and respect for the earth.
If you wish to be a bigot, you may scoff at my spirituality, but you might want to take a closer look at your own cultural assumptions first. Is it silly and strange to believe in a guy who came back from the dead after three days by passing through a mystical shroud? If not, why point your finger and laugh at anyone else's religion?
: It seems to me you would just want to skip life as a human and just kill yourself or be killed, and be reincarnated as a snake. After all...You LOVE them so much...even more than us stupid humans...like yourself.
It seems to me that you might want to take a class in better reading comprehension. Anthro 101 would help too.
