: : I have a biology question on the five basic types of venomous snakes in Texas, and I was wondering if anyone knew??????????

: I can not find information on the snakes in North Texas (Dallas) area. Can anyone out there tell me where to get a book with pictures to be able to identify them. My daughter is building a house and there are a number of snakes but we don't know if they are dangerous.

Hello,
I am looking for information on the snake I was bitten by. I have already been to the hospital and it doesn't appear to be venomous. I was wondering if you know anything about snakes. The snake was black and very skinny with very distinct gray marks on it all over. It was about at the most 2 feet long maybe not even that. If you have any information on what kind of snake this is or think it is I would really appreciate it a lot! thank you!
( . ) <~~~ the bite kind of looks like that. 2 large scrape looking marks and one
very faint mark in the middle. It bled right away.
