I noticed a bit of greenish color in the corners of Imhotep's mouth. I thought it was just caused from all the greens he eats. You know, sort of like a red kool-aid mustache, except its a green uro...mustache...sort of thingy...
Mine seems very healthy, eating, pooping, running around, etc...
I also notice that sometimes he'll eat most of a piece of food, but some will dangle from the corner of his mouth and he doesn't seem to notice it until he takes another bite.
Maybe our uros are just sloppy eaters?
When I was a baby, I liked to eat the babyfood sweet potatoes. Mom fed them to me every day because that is all I would eat. After a while I turned orange (LITERALLY an orange-ish tint to my skin) from all the beta carotene in the sweet potatoes.
Never underestimate the power of chlorophylls!
I assume this is just staining from the greens they eat.
Any other ideas anyone?
