female mali getting fat....tail getting less fat????

My female which now resides in my original big tank (haven't moved her)....moved the male out....is getting realllly fat in the belly. she's eating well and pooping, and seems healthy. However, her tail "seems" to be getting skinnier....or "less fat". it could be an optical illusion due to her belly getting fatter, I'm not sure. she's about 11 inches and weighs around 162 grams. Should I be concerned with her tail????
