:Egyptian Uromastyx (U. aegypticus) = 2-3' 1600 grams?

From everyone I have talked to Egyptians are more like 18-30" with most ranging in the 20-24 range. Lindsay Pike (www.urotopia.com) has seen a lot of Uros and he said he has never seen an egyptian much more than two feet. That being said there have been reports of 3 foot, 10 pound egyptians (~4500 grams)in the wild. Egyptians are not a huge amount longer than Malis but are much bulkier. An 18 inch mali would probably weigh around 600 grams while a same length egyptian would probably be twice that. Just what I have come across. Keep up the good work.

Peter

PS: My adult Egyptian is 21 inches and 1600 grams.
